First off, I’m a Houston native, so if you ever hear me make a wise crack about your area, know that it’s either 1.) in jest, and/or 2.) completely true.  But all joking aside, this city rocks!

At one point in my life, I wanted to be a sacker.  Shortly after, I wanted to drive a garbage truck.  THANKFULLY, I was only 4, which also happened to be the age that my parents FINALLY got me out of diapers.  Go ahead, laugh.

Fast forward to today…

I live in Richmond with my wife, Monica and 2 daughters, Katalina and Angelina.  They are the loves of my life.  My "job" at KRBE is the fourth love of my life, yes, it's nerdy, but I'm okay with that.  Where else can I talk smack on the radio, meet celebrities, play with music and "pew-pew-boom" noises all in one day?

My perfect afternoon would consist of snuggling on the couch with the girls and a stack of Charlie and Lola books, followed by singing and dancing with them to whatever's on the radio until my legs get so sore that I can't stand.

Freddy’s Faves

Music:  Linkin Park, Black-Eyed Peas, No Doubt, Madonna. Maroon 5, Shakira, Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Snoop Dogg, Puddle of Mudd, Gorillaz, Basement Jaxx, Benny Benassi

Restaurants:  Escalante’s, Chuy’s, Hickory Hollow, The ORIGINAL Ninfa’s on Navigation, Qin Dynasty, 713, Which Wich, Skeeter’s

Misc. Freddy

-graduated from Klein Forest, c/o ’94!

-graduated from University of Houston c/o ’01!

-once had a cameo in the “made for VH-1” movie, The Way She Moves

-my daughters think that I look like Jared, the Subway Guy

-I’ve got a serious case of hypochondria

-I once hit a guy on a bike while on my way to the KRBE studios for an overnight shift.  He was arrested for public intoxication.

-I’ve got more radio shows and jingles than songs on my iPod.  Does that make me a loser?  Wait a second, don’t answer that question…
